HDPE male Thread Adaptor has a male screw thread at one ends that are used to join with thread connections, such as valves, any other thread fittings., etc. The other ends are made of HDPE material, which allow to connect to the HDPE main pipeline in a “heat-fusion” methods.

HDPE male adaptor consists two parts: HDPE body & inserts made by brass or stainless steel.

* Are brass inserts in Hexagon?

A: For HDPE male adaptor, brass inserts in hexagon are used for the diameter of 40×1-1/4” to 110×4”, for the diameter 20×1/2” to 32×1”, the brass inserts are in round.

* Which SDR of HDPE fittings shall we use for the HDPE pipe in SDR13.6-PN12.5? Can we use the SDR17 fittings for our SDR13.6 pipe?

A: To guarantee the safety of piping system, the HDPE fittings shall be equal to or higher pressure rating than pipeline. So for HDPE pipe in SDR13.6, you shall take the fittings in SDR13.6 or SDR11. The fittings in SDR17 is not suitable for SDR13.6 pipeline.

* What SDR rating of HDPE fittings can SUNPLAST provide?

A: Currently, SUNPLAST can provide HDPE fittings in SDR11-PN16 & SDR17-PN10.

* What’s the warranty can SUNPLAST provide?

A: All our HDPE fittings are made of virgin PE100 material, and are designed for 50 years lifetime. SUNPLAST will provide a warranty time in quality of 10 years for regular use.

* Can HDPE fittings made by PE100 material weld with pipes in PE80?

A: yes, they can be welded together. But, to achieve the best welding results, we recommend to weld PE80 pipes with PE80 fittings.

* Can SUNPLAST accept OEM service?

A: Yes, it is acceptable to us. We can also provide poly fittings with customer’s trademark embossed.
