HDPE cross fittings, also called HDPE cross tee, which are four-way fittings or cross branch lines, have one inlet and three outlets.

SUNPLAST HDPE cross fittings can be supplied in diameters ranging from 63mm to 800mm in SDR11 & SDR17. The Fittings in SDR 11 are rated to PN16 for water and PN10 for gas, while SDR 17 fittings are rated to PN10 for water and PN6 for gas.

SUNPLAST HDPE cross tee are injection molded type, fabricated by 100% PE100 material, can fully conform to ISO4427-3,EN12201-3, AS/NZS 4129, EN1555, EN ISO15494 standard.

* What’s the difference between HDPE tee fittings & HDPE cross fittings?

A: HDPE tee fittings have 3 branches, while HDPE cross fittings have 4 branches.

* Is SUNPLAST HDPE fittings UV resistant?

A: Yes, HDPE fittings made in black color are UV resistant and UV stable and will not structurally degrade from UV light. After a lengthy period of direct UV light contact, the external surface of the fittings change visually to a slightly waxy look, but this does not affect the performance and is removed by a rotary pipe scraper prior to electrofusion welding.

* Are SUNPLAST HDPE butt fusion fittings available to weld with HDPE electrofusion coupler?

A: Our HDPE butt fusion fittings are designed for butt fusion only, and don’t have enough length for electrofusion.
