HDPE equal tee refers to the branch diameter of this tee is same with the main pipeline diameter of this tee, which means three ends of tee have same diameters. An HDPE Equal Tee is used to split a HDPE pipe into two outlets at right angles to the end of the original pipe, or to add in an outlet to a HDPE Pipe.

With a size range from 50 mm to 800 mm, SUNPLAST HDPE equal tee come in SDR 11 & SDR17. The Fittings in SDR 11 are rated to PN16 for water and PN10 for gas, while SDR 17 fittings are rated to PN10 for water and PN6 for gas.

■ In-process inspection and test.

Their specialty greatly help us to find out the main manufacturing defects during our production, so that we can avoid the unqualified products on the markets timely.

Dimensional test and visual test will be made in the whole production process and packing. Any manufacturing defect can be found out, in case it happens.

The preproduction samples by our quality assurance department are tested by the laboratory technicians for:

(1) Surface finish; 

(2) Dimensional accuracy of test samples;(3) Date from extrusion and injection molding machines.

The goods will be released for production only if optimal test results are achieved. These tests are carried out at the beginning of each production series to ensure perfect quality for piping systems.

■ Final Inspection And Test.

Finished products are only released to stock when all tests and inspections conform to the prescribed procedures, which include:

(2) Melt flow rate;

(3) Longitudinal reversion;

(4) Tensile strength;

(5) Elongation at break;

(6) Thermal stability;

(7) Internal hydrostatic pressure test

* what’s the main difference between HDPE equal tee & HDPE reducing tee?

A: The main difference is the diameter of branch outlet. HDPE equal tee’s branch outlet has the exact same diameter as main pipeline, while branch outlet of HDPE reducing tee is smaller diameter than main pipeline.

* Can SUNPLAST provide HDPE fittings in PE80 material?

A: Yes, PE80 fittings are also possible to us.

* What’s the warranty can SUNPLAST provide?

A: All our HDPE fittings are made of virgin PE100 material, and are designed for 50 years lifetime. SUNPLAST will provide a warranty time in quality of 10 years for regular use.

* Can HDPE fittings made by PE100 material weld with pipes in PE80?

A: yes, they can be welded together. But, to achieve the best welding results, we recommend to weld PE80 pipes with PE80 fittings.
