HDPE ferrule tee, also called HDPE ferrule valve, is a kind of fittings of “tapping saddle”. The fittings include two parts: the ferrule tee body & metal cutter. The PP ferrule valve normally has a male thread in one end that can be connected to HDPE clamp saddle fittings. When the HDPE clamp saddle fittings connect to the main HDPE pipe, the install worker can screw down the metal cutter inside to tap a hole on the HDPE pipe to make a new branch outlets.
